Promoting Health & Wellness
Cape Breton Fiddlers Marathon
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote physical fitness and participation as part of a healthy and active lifestyle in our community by fostering the enjoyment of running and walking for all ages and abilities.
Lydia & Everett Dickson Inspiration Award
The Cape Breton Fiddlers Run Association was formed in the spring of 2005 by the late Lydia & Everett Dickson, with a mandate to promote fitness and health in the community and to offer training for new runners. Each year, we give out the Lydia & Everett Dickson Inspiration Award. This award goes to a group or person who is dedicated to promoting a healthy community and inspiring others to live a healthy lifestyle.
We are proud to carry on the legacy that Lydia and Everett started and look forward to what the future has in store for the Cape Breton Fiddlers Run.
